1. Financial Record Keeping:

   • Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
   • Ensure all financial transactions are accurately and promptly recorded in the accounting system.

2. Accounts Payable/Receivable:

   • Process invoices, payments, and collections efficiently.
   • Monitor overdue accounts and follow up on outstanding payments.
   • Reconcile supplier statements and ensure timely payment.

3. Bank Reconciliation:

   • Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records.
   • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between bank statements and internal records.

4. Financial Reporting:

   • Assist in preparing financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
   • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.

5. Tax Compliance:

   • Prepare and submit VAT, tax returns, and other statutory financial obligations.
   • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and support audits.

6. Payroll Processing:

   • Assist with payroll calculations and ensure accurate salary payments.
   • Maintain employee financial records and ensure statutory deductions (e.g., taxes, social security) are correctly applied.

7. Audit Support:

   • Assist with internal and external audits by providing relevant financial documentation.
   • Ensure compliance with company policies and external regulatory requirements.

8. Financial Analysis:

   • Provide financial analysis and insights to support management decisions.
   • Assist in identifying opportunities for cost savings and improved financial efficiency.

9. General Administrative Support:

   • Provide general administrative support to the finance department as required.
   • Ensure timely filing and archiving of financial documents.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance-related roles.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, etc.) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Familiarity with local tax regulations and financial reporting standards.

Working Conditions
